API Providers
API Providers are banks that joined the API Centre, some of which have built standardised APIs for use by contracted third parties.
The following API Providers have built standardised APIs and are ready to partner with third parties. You can find out more about the service they offer, and more about open banking, on their websites.
ANZ has been a member of the API Centre since 2019, when the Centre was founded.
ANZ is currently partnering with BlinkPay (who offers Blink PayNow) and Worldline, the company behind Online EFTPOS.
ASB has been a member of the API Centre since 2019, when the Centre was founded.
ASB is currently partnering with BlinkPay (who offers Blink PayNow) and Qippay.
BNZ has been a member of the API Centre since 2019 and, prior to that, was one of the banks that participated in the open banking pilot that led to the establishment of the API Centre.
BNZ is currently partnering with BlinkPay (who offers Blink PayNow), Qippay, Volley, and Worldline (the company behind Online EFTPOS).
Westpac NZ has been a member of the API Centre since 2019 and, prior to that, was one of the banks that participated in the open banking pilot that led to the establishment of the API Centre.
Westpac NZ launched a proprietary payment initiation API to partner with third parties in 2015 and integrated with Worldline’s Online EFTPOS in 2019 prior to the development of the API standard.
Westpac NZ is currently partnering with BlinkPay, Qippay and Worldline (the company behind Online EFTPOS).
The API Providers below are also members of the API Centre.
Third Parties
Third Parties are any organisation that joins the API Centre and intends to partner with API Providers so they can offer secure open banking-enabled apps and services. Some third parties have API Services agreements (contracts) with API Providers and have apps and services in market for customer to use, or do so in the near future.
BlinkPay offers Blink PayNow

Blink PayNow is a payment gateway that enables fast payments directly from a customer's bank account to a merchant's bank account.
BlinkPay currently has API Services agreements (contracts) in place with ANZ, ASB, BNZ, and Westpac.
Qippay offers the Qippay payment gateway

Volley offers the Volley app (currently in beta testing)

Volley currently has an API Services agreement (contract) in place with BNZ.
Worldline offers Online EFTPOS
With Online EFTPOS you can make secure online payments from a smartphone.
Online EFTPOS is fast, easy, and one of the most secure payment methods available to customers. To pay, customers simply enter their mobile number and select their bank on your payments page, then they approve the payment on their mobile banking app.
That's it, it’s the safer and easier way to pay online, your customers never need expose their payment or banking credentials.
Worldline Online EFTPOS currently has API Services agreements (contracts) in place with ANZ and BNZ. The product is also available via a first generation API with ASB and Westpac.
